What operation do you enjoy doing the most and why?
Popliteal interposition graft via posterior approach. It is a very elegant exposure and the graft sits beautifully.

Choose a movie title for the story of your life.
Cool Hand Luke.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
1) Diving in Palau and Yap.
2) Resurrect my pilots license.
3) Ride a BMW R1250GS from Hamburg via the Caucasian Republics to Lavrentiya at the very easterly edge of Russia.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
The ability to Spiderman- like climb up walls. Because it is a) simply very cool and b) would make hiding when not wanting to be found very easy.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?
This was from my father after a tragic event when I was young: “It can’t be changed, so remember the moment and move forward." I have stayed true to that advice ever since.
